Moving the PC Software to a new computer

In order to move the PC Software to a new computer, proceed as follows:

1. Create a backup of your files. Select [File] > [Preferences]. Click on “Back up to disk” and save the backup somewhere where you can easily transfer it to a new PC (like a network or USB drive).
2. Install and activate the PC Software on the new computer.
3. In the PC Software on the new computer, select [File] > [Preferences]. There, select “Restore from disk”. Select the backup file you created in Step 1.
4. Select [Edit] > [Device]. Then, double-click on your connected device. Click on [This computer] to update your PC's name in your device settings. Repeat this step for every connected device.

You now have all your data and the PC Software on your new computer.
